Setup
The eight card setup: four face up Aces under four face down Kings. Arrange the Aces and Kings in any matching order so the suits stay the same with each change.
Handling & Presentation
Hold the stock in the hand. Push the top card into the left hand. Then push the second card over to the left hand, at same time buckle the bottom card.
Pull the bottom Ace from under the stock and put it on top of the packet. Square up the cards.
Buckle the second Ace from the bottom of the stock. Place the second Ace on top.
Buckle the third Ace from the bottom of the stock. Buckle the last Ace and put it on top.
The second phase begins, repeating the sequence. Start by dealing off the the top two cards into the left hand, and buckle the bottom card of the stock. The photograph above on the right shows the first finger in the process of turning over the buckled card to display the first King.
The first King is put on top. The second King buckled, turned over and displayed, then put on top.
The third King is buckled, turned over and displayed, then put on top.
The fourth King is buckled from the stock. The fourth King is shown to end.
Left: detail showing the block of cards with the bottom card of the block buckled off.
Right: detail showing the first finger pulls the top corner of the bottom card of the block away thus buckling the card and freeing it from the stock.
When the fourth Ace changes to the fourth King, that King can be shown and either left at the bottom or brought to the top. A better clean up is to place the three Kings with the block under it on to the top of deck with the left hand, then, with the right hand, give the final King a snap and put it on top of the deck.
